Discounted Histories
Wednesday – Friday 11am – 7pm, Saturday 11am – 6pm, Sunday 12 – 5pm
Presented by Myseum of Toronto in collaboration with the City of Toronto Archives, this exhibit presents objects and artifacts from Toronto’s retail and trade history. Installed as a non-linear survey, the selected works come together to create a new context that was never before possible due to the monocultural view of the historical canon. This exhibit acts as a natural starting place to learn about the overarching principles of Discounted Histories before exploring the narratives of partnering institutions, as well as the variety of programs happening throughout the month.
