The event is a black-only space. A discussion, dinner, and social with a DJ and live performance. How do traditional and other faith groups talk about Blackness? How do we as Black people reconcile faith/spirituality with the effects of colonization on religion? What potential exists for unification amongst Black spiritual communities? How might we use faith as a form of resistance and radical self-care?
